From a single sewing machine to a movement.

It started with a second-hand sewing machine, set on top of a washing machine in a small studio apartment. That’s where I began sewing in 2013, building Taylor M one garment at a time.

Today, Taylor M is two things built from the same belief: that what we wear, and what we make with our own hands, is one of the most personal ways we express who we are.

Taylor M is my Caribbean resort wear label, made for women of every shape and size. I design each piece so you feel confident, beautiful and fully yourself when you wear it.

Taylor M Academy is my award-winning sewing school in Woodbrook. More than 3,000 students have learned to make their own clothes with us, gaining a skill that makes them more self-sufficient and gives them a new way to express themselves.

Whether you’re wearing my pieces or learning to create your own, my goal is the same: to help women show up confidently, in clothes that feel like them.

What began in 2019 with one student at a time, first at home, then in a rented space and now in our Woodbrook studio, has grown into one of Trinidad and Tobago's leading sewing schools, with more than 3,000 students trained.
